Little® Dry Coughs contains Iceland Moss (Cetraria islandica), traditionally used in European herbal medicine to relieve dry coughs and a dry throat.

When to take

For the soothing relief of dry coughs, dry throat and mild bronchial cough.

Dry Cough
A dry cough is one in which the cough does not produce phlegm or mucus and it can have many causes.

Active Ingredients

Honey flavour = Each 5 mL of oral liquid contains 556 mg of Cetraria islandica (Iceland Moss) extract equivalent to 556 mg of dry thallus.

No added:
Lactose, sugar and artificial colours.

Non-drowsy and comes with a dosage syringe for ease of use.

Use the enclosed dosing syringe to withdraw an accurate dose. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Please refer to the carton and product label before giving Little® Dry Coughs to your child. There you will find the appropriate dosage recommendation depending on the age of your child. You should consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

You and your child can stop taking Little® Dry Coughs when you obtain relief from symptoms. It can be restarted if symptoms recur. If your condition does not improve after a few days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if you are allergic or hypersensitive to Iceland Moss.

Contains: Potassium sorbate, sucralose, and sulfites. The maximum daily dose of this product contains 18.3g of Maltitol solution which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

How often should the medicine be administered?

The dosage should not exceed the recommended dosage directed on the packaging.

Can Little® Dry Coughs be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding?

The use of Iceland Moss has not been tested with pregnant or breastfeeding women. Therefore we cannot recommend the use of Little® Dry Coughs during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We recommend that you consult with your health professional before use.

Does Little® Dry Coughs contain high amounts of potassium?

Yes, there are no animal ingredients.

Why shouldn’t I eat or drink after taking Little® Dry Coughs?

Little® Dry Coughs contains Iceland moss extract and the mucilage contained in the extract forms a protective layer over irritated and damaged mucosa of the mouth and throat, this helps mitigate the urge to cough. Eating or drinking, however, removes the protective layer from the mouth and throat mucous membrane.

I gave my child more than the recommended dose. Is there any cause for concern?

The most likely side effect that can be expected is a laxative effect or diarrhoea.
