Little® Coughs is a pleasant tasting cough syrup specially developed for the temporary soothing relief of coughs and chesty congestion.

Little® Coughs contains natural ivy leaf extract, ivy leaf has been used for centuries as a traditional medicine to help break down mucus and clear the chest.

When to take

For the temporary soothing relief of coughs and chesty congestion.

Chesty Congestion (wet cough)
Chesty congestion or a wet cough means you are producing mucus. It is a chesty or congested cough that is accompanied by a build up of mucus or phlegm in the respiratory tract and lungs.

Active Ingredients

Original Flavour – Each 5mL of oral liquid contains Hedera helix (Ivy)concentrated extract equivalent to 102mg of dry leaf.
Raspberry Flavour – Each 5mL of oral liquid contains Hedera helix (Ivy) concentrated extract equivalent to 210mg of dry leaf.

No added:
gluten, wheat, lactose, artificial colours and sweeteners.

Use the enclosed dosing syringe to withdraw an accurate dose. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Please refer to the carton and consumer information leaflet before giving Little® Coughs to your child.There you will find the appropriate dosage recommendation depending on the age of your child. You should consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

You and your child can stop taking Little® Coughs when you obtain relief from symptoms. It can be restarted if symptoms recur. If your condition does not improve after a few days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Is Little® Coughs suitable for dry coughs?

Little® Coughs is for productive coughs “wet coughs – mucus producing”. Ivy Leaf is an expectorant (increases bronchial secretions which helps to thin and loosen mucus), making it easier to clear the chest of congestion.
For Dry Coughs use Little® Dry Coughs.

Does Little® Coughs Original Flavour contain lactose or artificial flavours?

Little® Coughs Original Flavour does not contain yeast, gluten, wheat, lactose, artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners. It does contain star anise oil which has a similar taste to fennel and liquorice.

Does Little® Coughs contain honey?

Little® Coughs does not contain honey.

Does Little® Coughs contain aspartame?

Little® Coughs does not contain aspartame.

How often should the medicine be administered?

The dosage should not exceed the recommended dosage directed on the packaging.

Can Little® Coughs be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding?

The use of Ivy Leaf has not been tested with pregnant women or women breastfeeding. Therefore, for this reason we cannot recommend the use of Ivy Leaf during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We recommend that you consult with your health professional for further assistance. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or heath professional before use.

From what age can I give my child Little® Coughs?

Little® Coughs can be used in children over 2 years of age without medical advice.

Does Little® Coughs contain high amounts of potassium?

No.

Is Little® Coughs suitable for vegans and vegetarians?

Yes, there are no animal by-product.

I gave my child more than the recommended dose. Is there any cause for concern?
